DR. CONDOLEEZA RICE ARRIVES IN
LIBYA FOR PEACE TALKS

September 5, 2008.  Dr. Condoleeza Rice made herstory as the first U.S. Secretary of State to visit Libya in over 50 years during peace talks with Muammar Gaddafi on the continuing conflicts regarding the overthrow of the state of Palestine to establish the state of Israel.

The Jews believe Israel is the "promised land" as stated in The Tanach (Old Testament of The Holy Bible) which has been Israel's political authority supported by the long standing United Nations majority vote for occupying the former state of Palestine since May 14, 1948.

The massive immigration of Jews to Israel over the years has resulted in water shortages in this desert region, a fight over the Holy Land of Jerusalem for which Israel wants to control as its capital instead of Tel Aviv; and, further, the exile of over 700,000 Palestinians along with their loss of homes, jobs, agriculture, territory and self-identity.

This has resulted in continuing warfare since 1948, including the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the threat of escalation to other nations.

PEACE TALKS END WARS

Dr. Rice also visited Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco seeking Arab support to end the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Morocco has made it clear that its citizens oppose the foreign policy of the U.S. which has consistently supported the overthrow of the state of Palestine, now called Israel.

However, the Moroccans support a peaceful method of resolving the conflict.  They want to establish a good economic relationship with the U.S. as well as resolution to the disputed Western Sahara which Morocco claims to be its territory.

PALESTINIANS NEED
A STRONG PEACEFUL LEADER

The Palestinians need a peaceful leader with wisdom like Ghandi. The plight of the Palestinians is similar to any nation that has been overthrown and suffered genocide, such as the Tibetans, Native American Indians, African Americans (genocide and slavery), and many others.

However, the major difference is that the Palestinians have chosen leaders using violent methods of resisting their territorial conflict, terrorism, which has hidden their cause and has been matched with revengeful terrorism from Israel and the U.S. and Great Britain, and, which circular revengeful violent methods have made no progress. This is why peace talks are vital.

The mind cannot be compelled to change with violence, and, further, revenge is never-ending.

The books written by former President Jimmy Carter clearly explain the facts on the Israel-Palestine conflict along with peaceful solutions.

Some argue that the U.S. should find a state in America for Israel and return the state of Palestine to the Palestinians. If Hawaii became the new state of Israel, would you sit back and say okay? What about Florida or Texas or Montana?

We can only solve problems when we listen to both sides without prejudice. Those who choose peaceful means of resolving conflicts eventually achieve justice, but it takes a great deal of patience and a strong leader of wisdom.  The world cannot hear the cause with sympathy when overpowered by the voice of violence.

The wars in the Middle East will only end when Palestine and Israel peacefully agree to establish their own independent states (both the state of Palestine and the state of Israel) and achieve wisdom to share the resources of the region for the benefit of each other.

Further, just as Wash., D.C. is not a part of any one state, but rather, is the capital of all the states, let the Holy Land of Jerusalem be the World Capital to share equally with all faiths in Honor of God's biblical written commandments and teachings of peace and good will for all.
