February 11, 2009. A lady advised that she was growing hair on her face and even started shaving. It wasn't until she began drinking distilled water for health that unexpectedly the facial hair went away, and she realized that the water in Hawaii must be contaminated with testosterone.
Research on the internet showed that Hawaii does have a problem with testosterone (male hormone) contamination in the water.
Could this male hormone be causing the epidemic of dog bites recently? Dogs are affected by male hormones also, and we know that it makes one more aggressive.
I recently petted a dog who appeared to be sweet, but snapped at me. This is "not" normal behavior from a naturally peaceful breed, and while we know that all dogs have the potential to bite, we are seeing unusually widespread aggressive behavior in many dogs.
The only way we will know is if you experiment and give your dog only distilled water and observe if the aggressive behavior subsides. It may take at least six (6) months to make a conclusion.
If you cannot obtain or make distilled water, then buy water from Arizona (which is one of the top states tested as being pure water) or another state which has been shown through independent testing to be clear of medicines and other contaminants.
If, in fact, the male hormones in our water are causing aggression in dogs and facial hair on ladies, then we need to take action. Regardless, medicines and other contamination must be removed posthaste from Hawaii water as a matter of public policy.
