March 12, 2009.  Walt Disney's Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie is so-o-o funny and action packed. You will be watching it through to the end without a break in laughter and exciting fun. The whole family, from children to grandparents will love this show.

The story begins in Beverly Hills as Jamie Lee Curtis, the owner of a darling Chihuahua, Chloe, who is pampered with a life of wealth and luxury. Chloe, who wears pink booties and a diamond necklace under her cashmere sweater, is left in the caring hands a doggy-sitter who decides to take her on a trip to Mexico. After leaving her in a hotel room, Chloe sneaks out the back door after the landlord checks on a fallen flower pot (which Chloe knocked over while on the balcony).

Chloe then becomes lost and the adventure begins as she is captured and placed in a dog fight with a Doberman Pincher as a joke. When the Doberman begins to attack Chloe, she is saved by a former police dog who had lost his ability to smell, and was now a stray. The police dog was next in line for the dog fight, but realizing the danger to Chloe, he unlocks his cage and sets the others free. He then rescues Chloe from the Doberman Pincher and they escape to safety.

The true hero of this story is the police dog. But, as far as love goes, the little brown Chihuahua owned by the landscaper, is also a hero as he leads the people with evidence that eventually results in Chloe's rescue.

This is truly a great movie and you will enjoy every minute.  There are "not" any sad parts, but many very, very funny situations.

In addition, the Bonus Feature includes a cute dog-staring history of Chihuahuas that explains why they were used as "Chi-Warriors." You will laugh, and learn all about these cute little dogs and why they are so popular. There are many here in Hawaii, who come with long-hair and short.

You can rent this movie for only $1.00 at DVD Express, if an automatic dispenser is available in your grocery store, or you most probably can find it at the Library which usually charges around $1.00 to rent.
