A huge wave swept a man out to sea at Kehena Beach in Hawaii. The waves at the beaches, except in Waikiki, are extremely dangerous. They can change -- in seconds -- from tiny waves to huge giant waves pounding one after another. The currents are just as deadly. Sharks have also been known to swim into the shallow water and attack. The only safe beach for swimming is Waikiki, which also has a long barrier to protect from currents and to break the waves. Watching television with a digital converter box and trying to tape a show with a VCR is becoming a nightmare. The shows frequently break up into digital squares, distorting the picture, and turning of the sound. Also, the signals turn on and off making the taping of a show broken with missing sound and blank screens during critical scenes and intermittent distorted digital images. Moving the antenna around does not work because the signal comes on and off like a light switch. I would rather have the blurry picture with constant signals and images than to have these clear pictures that frequently break up and turn off and distort images and turns off sound. Further, the sound is no longer audible without external speakers turned up to the highest volume. ____________________________ HONOLULU STAR BULLETIN ONLINE NEWS REQUIRES CLICKING ON HUGE AD TO READ ARTICLES January 5, 2009. The Honolulu Star Bulletin requires readers to click on huge pop-up ads before reading the articles. Since the advertiser is paying per click most likely, there are a lot of clicks that have nothing to do with interest in the ad, but only interest in the article that is inaccessible until the ad is clicked. __________________________ BLACKOUT CAUSE IN HAWAII BEING INVESTIGATED January 5, 2009. The blackout in Hawaii on the day after Christmas while the newly elected President Obama was visiting, is being investigated as to the cause, and to determine why it took so long to turn back on. After that, the computer system at the airports went down, stranding tourists. We have also experienced the voting system go down after an election. These incidents all add up to highly suspicious activity. Huge quantities of portable generators are currently being sold with locals preparing for further problems in Hawaii, and to prevent major losses in revenue suffered from spoilage of food, ice cream, and other emergency needs. The main complaints by tourists during the blackout was the lack of food and water, as well as fear because, they said, they are in a strange place in total darkness and do not want to be trapped in a high rise hotel unable to come down in the elevator. The government of Hawaii wants to send the homeless to the Mainland - only. It is widely known that employers refuse to hire anyone from the Mainland, which results in many returning home after their funds run out. Most residents from the Mainland are Caucasian and African-American, both of which are the minority in Hawaii, and are the most discriminated against. The Census is chaotic and counts all mixed races under each individual category which means that one person is counted under numerous racial categories. In fact, there are no pure breeds anymore in the world. Everyone is mixed and can find all kinds of races in their families. RACISM IS AN EVIL WAY OF ELIMINATING THE COMPETITION I remember the story about a man who was a racist and hated Jews until he discovered that his grandmother was Jewish but had not told the family because of the war which she escaped from during the time she immigrated. Racism is an evil way of eliminating the competition under the practice of prejudice. Each category that you eliminate makes less people to fight with for jobs, housing, religion, food, and other things that should be shared. Prejudiced is based on emotions of selfishness, and results in lack of empathy and lack of virtues (reason, courage, justice, self-discipline, compassion, and patience). HOWLIE (HAOLE) RACIST TERM FOR CAUCASIAN Caucasians are openly called by a racist name here in Hawaii. They are called "Howlie" which is sometimes spelled "Haole" and sounds like a dog or wolf as said by a racist. It is virtually always stated in an abusive context, and when confronted, an elaborate explanation is given which wrongly depicts it as merely a Hawaiian word. Haole originated in the Hawaiian language to describe anyone "not" native Hawaiian. We know that the word, "Mother" can be used abusively, even though we can spend hours describing the meaning of "Mother," as the one who gives birth and cares for her children. But, a word is racist when stated in a racist context, and because Howlie (Haole) is exclusively used against Caucasians - not any other race, then it is racist and is used primarily to verbally inflict a wound. The term, Howlie (Haole) most recently was used as abusive name-calling published in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin against Governor Lingle, who is Caucasian, after she refused to meet with Obama before he was inaugurated. Even though she was wrong to do this, it is disrespectful to call her racist names. SEND ALL HOMELESS HOME NOT JUST THOSE FROM MAINLAND If Hawaii really wanted to help the homeless, then it would send all homeless back home to be with their families, and that means to all parts of the world. In fact, there are relatively few homeless from the Mainland because they return home on their own after experiencing the prejudice and slavery and poor housing. Why is it that the government only wants to get rid of the Mainland homeless, and not those from other parts of the world? It is unbelievable that one lawmaker suggested that if this bill were passed, then some people would come here from the Mainland for vacation so that they could go back free after becoming homeless. Whoever suggested this should go back to kindergarten because that is absolutely ignorant. HAWAII LAST SLAVE STATE IN AMERICA No one would give up all their possessions and go through the abusiveness of being homeless, and to be intentionally unemployed just to get a free ride back home. This is the kind of ignorance that has made Hawaii the only remaining "slave" state of the nation, and that is why they try to keep Hawaii out of the Mainland news. The citizens are isolated here in Hawaii, and those who grew up here are very much unaware that they are being treated abusively in their jobs, in their housing, in their products, and all across the board. Food in a regular grocery store in Hawaii is more expensive than health food stores in Hawaii. How can organically grown food be shipped here cheaper than food with pesticides? The mark-up is inflated, the leases are inflated for businesses, the citizens are taxed astronomically, the employees are paid minimum wages with little or no benefits while being required to commit 24/7 to their jobs if needed, employees are hired according to their race, the elderly are openly discriminated against, and the housing is an atrocity with extremely high rent in run-down rat infested termite eaten broken-down apartments, with rampant poverty island-wide. In fact, the reason employers do not want to hire anyone from the Mainland is because, the employers are so abusive to the employees that those from the Mainland simply would not tolerate it because they know their legal rights. Hawaii is at least 50-100 years behind in labor practices, and the courts are corrupt, so it will not do any good to fight it out only to have the judges sit there and tell lies in their orders as they did in my cases. I have worked at law firms in several states on the Mainland, including Washington, D.C., and I have never experienced such poor practice of law as in Hawaii. That is because good lawyers (and doctors) are not going to come here to Hawaii and live in poverty when they can live in luxury for the same price on the Mainland and have much higher salaries. I worked at several law firms in Hawaii and found the employees treated abusively, with employers screaming and demeaning, office managers openly lying, and long hours with no overtime pay. Law firms also refuse to hire the elderly, not even for temporary jobs. This is their way of getting higher salaries for themselves, while paying low wages to the employees and expecting them to work at minimum wage and without overtime pay. Shipping all those from the Mainland back there is not going to remove the corruption charges that are against Hawaii. There will come a day when all those who are abusing others will be held accountable, and Hawaii will either be returned to the Native Hawaiians or become a "real" American state and be demanded to follow the "real" laws and not those that the courts artificially inflict upon the citizens with home-made laws distant from the code of law and morality. The internet made it possible to connect to the world in ways that make us grow stronger and better. As we ponder the value of money, it is, after all, the strong soul who survives and even thrives on the difficult challenges of life because realistically we expected it and were prepared.. Whatever we built before, we can build it again, and, make it even better. We can accept the loss as that which is not in our control, but our way of recovering is to become stronger and wiser. We practice the relaxation response to stress with meditation, prayer, and physical exercise. Rev. Joyce Meyer recently told the story of a man who played the board game of Life, and successfully won all kinds of play-money, property, etc., but when the game was over, he was putting the pieces away, and realized that real life is similar to that -- in the end we take nothing with us -- but our soul. Let's make sure we have a good, strong soul filled with hope and faith. _______________________ PIT BULLS MAY BE BANNED IN HAWAII January 27, 2009. The serious injury of a lady who protected students from being bitten by three pit bulls has caused support of an initiative to ban pit bulls in Hawaii. However, there is a better way of resolving this situation. Pit bulls can be trained "not" to attack any human. The State could require all owners to take their pit bulls to be trained and require that the dog licenses of pit bulls show completion of such training as a requirement for ownership. It is certainly worth trying this alternative solution before shipping them out of Hawaii. Ironically, I have seen more pit bulls in Hawaii than anywhere I have lived. Hawaii residents love them. But, those who are irresponsible and wrongly training them to attack humans are also putting the dog's life in jeopardy of being put down and removed from Hawaii. Now, you may ask, if we train a pit bull not to attack a human, then how can the dog protect against intruders? Dogs can do a lot more than "bite" when an intruder comes in. The threat of a pit bull is enough to send any thief running - no bite necessary. ALL DOGS BITE If we start banning one dog breed, then there will be others banned eventually because all dogs bite. Recently, I talked to a man with his unusual dog breed ("not" a Pit Bull) which was beautiful to look at, but he said was a "killer." While I was talking to him, a fly came near the dog, and he ate it quick as a flash. The man even talked about putting his dog to sleep because sometimes it scared him. This breed of dog would eventually be banned also, and where would we stop until we got rid of all dogs in Hawaii. We have to leave behind this ignorance that killing somehow solves problems, because it doesn't. We have to think about changing the "mind," not the "body." We need to understand dogs first, and judge them as dogs not as humans. We need "experts" on dogs to guide us before making a final decision. Children are the most vulnerable for severe injuries, and we must always protect them as a priority. WISDOM DOG It is important to understand that the mind has the ability to over-ride biological drives. From the knowledge that we are taught by dog trainers and dog psychologists, it is quite clear that a dog has the ability to learn wisdom, even easier than humans. Why? Because they are more obedient than humans. While we are at it, let's require all dogs to be trained to "respect" the danger of cars as they would a herd of elephants. Dogs are often taken from their mothers at an early age and raised by humans who are unable to speak dog language, and, consequently, who fail to teach dogs the trials and tribulations of present-day life from the dog's perspective. What fools dogs is that they cannot, for some reason, see the danger in a non-living thing. They see cars as safe because it is not alive. But, they need to be taught that moving cars can and will kill, and they must avoid them as they would any living beast that is capable of killing. Birds, however, have the understanding that cars are dangerous. They rarely are hit by cars. But, perhaps, they need to learn more about airplanes! I think the problem is they get trapped in the wind that draws them into the plane which can even down a plane which we have seen happen recently. There should be a strong metal mesh or something to prevent birds from being injured and causing damage to the plane while in flight. Surely, birds recognize the danger of planes but their are always the juvenile show-offs who like to prove how close they can get to this monster metal bird. But, they do not realize how close they can get to planes and yet remain safe. The licensing of dogs must also require the education of dogs, because, after all, this species is our closest non-human friend, next to cats, and we know that education solves problems and teaches us and our best friend the power of the Wisdom Mind. _______________________ PRESIDENT OBAMA BUILDING A NEW ENGINE OF CHANGE January 23, 2009. President Obama is making vast changes in the functions of our government from the very start of his administration. He is already moving forward with support of a scientific response to global warming, the end of torture by shutting down Guantanamo Military Facility, and he is clearing a path to return to the American-way of peacekeeping by moving forward with diplomatic communications. His academic background is evident in the Harvard-style implementation dedicated to achieving the highest possible level of legal wisdom. These two doves dearly love each other, and often kiss and share food mouth-to-mouth. They take care of each other and scratch each other's itches. In this image, they are enjoying looking out at the ocean, and it is quite clear that doves have a strong esthetic love of beauty and are seekers of peace and love. Fascinating: After observing doves intensively, I conclude that their beaks are external "teeth." ______________________ ISRAEL ONLY NATION IN MIDDLE EAST WITH NUCLEAR WEAPONS January 5, 2009. Israel is the only nation in the Middle East which has nuclear weapons of mass destruction, and which was given by the United States. Israel fears that its nuclear facility could be a target for its own destruction. Israel also fears that another nation in the Middle East could obtain nuclear weapons, and threatens that any nation who appears to be building a nuclear facility will be destroyed by Israel. The spread of warfare against children and their families has increased the possibility of nuclear war as the killing fields are revealing that genocide is the biological drive behind all wars. And, its purpose is to eliminate the competition for available resources. In short, the world is becoming too populated, and there is a correlation between over-population and violence. However, we have a mind that is capable of solving problems peacefully no matter what the cause. ________________________ WARFARE INCREASING WORLDWIDE WITH GENOCIDE ON RISE ARE DRUGS BEHIND THE SCENE? January 5, 2009. If we want evidence of biological drive behind warfare, we only need to look at the whole picture of what is happening in our world today. Wars are breaking out in many nations, and each are leaving the battle field with the intent of killing entire families. This is genocide. It is primitive. It is ape behavior, not human. We are, in fact, evolving backwards, and, it is quite possible that drugs are behind this extremely low mental functioning. We know that drugs are available cheaply in the Middle East, and we see that countries where drugs are prevalent have primitive crimes. Drugs prevent the brain from functioning at higher intellectual levels, and the evidence shows that it actually returns our civilization to the days of barbarism. From a social perspective, we are living in our past. _______________________ CUBA A LOST OPPORTUNITY RECONSIDERED January 10, 2009. The leaders of the United States lost the opportunity to protect the southern states, including Florida and Georgia from nuclear attack. By failing to make peace with Cuba, this nearby island becomes a potential threat where nuclear weapons could reach the southern states. The fact that peace has never been acquired with Cuba is becoming increasingly apparent as Russian joins military allegiance with nearby Venezuela. Perhaps, it takes a high threat to compel our leaders to realize that nothing - absolutely nothing - will allow us to evomorph backward and survive. The entire universe is moving forward, and if we fail to move with it, then we will be left behind - it is the law of physics. Recently, the United States has reconsidered the values of friendship, and has been promoting Cuba as a tourist haven with economical prices and natural beauty. As we visit Cuba and meet the people, perhaps we will learn to be friends and influence each other in beneficial ways, that could, in fact, also benefit humanity. Submarines equipped with nuclear weapons of mass destruction are headed for Hawaii, and will make Pearl Harbor their home base. Many new submarines with technologically advanced features are being built and are planned to be based at Pear Harbor. The U.S. Navy advised that at least 60 percent of America's submarines will remain in the Pacific while 40 percent will protect America from the Atlantic Ocean. __________________ TOURISTS PACK WAIKIKI BEACH AFTER HOLIDAYS January 9, 2009. The tourists packed Waikiki Beach today with tremendous after holiday travel deals. Also, the International Market Place in Waikiki is having steep sales in every booth from tee-shirts to hats to necklaces and dragon statues. _________________________ JIMMY CARTER MODEL PRESIDENT OF WISDOMPEACE January 10, 2009. Of all the Presidents so far, Jimmy Carter has been the best. He is a model for all future presidents who want to achieve WisdomPeace. He shocked the world when he was able to peacefully negotiate the release of American captives from the Iran Hostage ordeal. He showed that it takes time and patience to make peace work, but the end result is preservation of human life and long-lasting solutions. I remember that day, no one had any hope for the captives - and then they were set free. What is so fascinating about former President Jimmy Carter is that he chose to follow WisdomPeace even when it was not the popular approach. He proved that it works. During his administration nations worldwide loved America, and wanted to be like an "American.". When something this powerful - WisdomPeace - works, we keep it in our hearts and never let it go. Israeli President Shimon Peres recently asked: "Any suggestions to stop terror?" Yes. This book should be read by every Israeli and every American, as it explains all aspects of the pathway to peace with historical facts needed to understand why we must be seekers of peace. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are "not" about oil, but rather are about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We solve problems by first gathering all the facts, and this book delineates and explains what we need to know as we seek WisdomPeace. ______________________ U.S. CIA AGENT ACCUSED OF DRUGGING AND RAPING ALGERIAN MUSLIM LADIES January 28, 2009. Two Muslim ladies independently testified against a U.S. CIA agent accused of drugging and raping them. Each stated she had consumed a drink followed by a violent onset of nausea and apparently then passing out. Upon waking up, she was lying on the bed completely nude with no memory of intimacy, but with clearly physical evidence she had been raped. Investigators searched the CIA agent's residence and found more than a dozen videos showing him having intimate relations with different ladies, and also found were bottles of Xanax and Valium which are commonly used as date-rape drugs. BEWARE IF LIGHTS ARE ON DURING INTIMACY Some men enjoy the act of rape itself. It has nothing to do with wanting intimacy with a lady, but rather, the excitement of violence or otherwise aggressively overpowering a lady during the intimate act. Further, excessive exposure to pornography can cause a man to be unable to relate in natural intimacy, and which could lead to inability to function unless along with pornography. This could also result in secretly recording an intimate relationship which would require him to have the light on or to use drugs to have sufficient light to record. Any boyfriend who shows that he is into pornography is a poor choice for a husband, because only he can change himself, and it is very difficult without intensive therapy and religion. Marriage will "not" cure him, but will only draw you into his distorted world. We have to understand that there are some things which we can never try, such as pornography, because once hooked, it can destroy your life and your future. ___________________________ HAWAII JUDGES DEMAND INCREASES IN WAGES DESPITE ECONOMIC HARDSHIP IN HAWAII January 4, 2009. Judges in Hawaii are demanding to be paid their annual increases in salaries despite the severe economic cut-back the government has been compelled to invoke. They request to be excluded from the budget cut, while calling for the poor working class to cut back in hours and pay. However, the economic hardship in Hawaii needs to be born equally by all citizens regardless of whether they are wealthy judges or the poor working class. Doves curl up their feet close to their body when flying. Each evening, they fly in groups to a nest inland following a specific route and time. Many birds in Hawaii depend on human food because pesticides often contaminate natural foods on the landscape. The daily routine consists of seeking out tourists and praying for food to be dropped. Economic advisers in Great Britain have concluded that their country has fallen into a recession, and is being hit hard by unemployment, foreclosures, repossessions, and all the other symptoms. The worldwide effect of economic disaster has clearly taught us that we are more interconnected than formerly realized. When one falls, then we all are affected and need to realize that when we harm even one, we, on the other side, eventually will also suffer the pain ourselves. It is called an equation, and somehow proves that we are -- equal -- in more ways than we may want to believe. The switch to digital television in Hawaii has been a disappointment. While experts claimed that you will have a crystal clear picture or nothing at all, the truth is that the sound comes and goes, the picture breaks up into isolated small squares, the screen freezes, and recording a movie or special show is a nightmare with inconsistent digital functioning. I have a converter box with an antenna. While taping an important show, the critical words are deleted as the sounds turn on and off as if someone is playing around with the transmission. For instance, the speaker will say: "Now, this is important. I believe that . . . " What does the speaker believe? I will never know! At least with analog, even though the picture was blurry, the sound was consistent, and what I could not see, I could hear. Sometimes the picture just freezes. You can see it clear, but it is like a photo. Then the picture returns to normal movement and tiny boxes distort the picture in "critical" viewing areas. I have tried adjusting the antenna, but the picture is inconsistent, which makes it impossible to record. When the television was analog, when I adjusted the antenna and found a clear picture, it stayed clear. But, digital is on and off - on and off. This malfunction, however, is not all the time. Sometimes, it works well for hours, and other times, it acts up for hours. In this economy, I would not even consider getting cable because (1) my time is too valuable to be distracted with so many shows, and (2) the expense is unjustified when basic necessities are not affordable. The converter box has a setup for the antenna which helps temporarily to find a position for a recording. But, the process has to be repeated each time because the good reception position of the antenna varies. Channel 2 sometimes has a distorted sound, like it is coming out of a can, but this condition also comes and goes. Channel 4 seems to broadcast the best picture over long periods of time. Channels 14 and up have the most inconsistencies. Since I do not know much about digital television, it is difficult to know whether any improvements can be made by the broadcasters.
