ARIZONA We look forward to seeing whether the unusually high winter temperatures will in any way affect whether the summer temps will be cooler or hotter.
The summer usually manifests extremely hot desert air, and, standing in the sun will penetrate you at 150 degrees while the shade is at 100 degrees. This extreme is the fascinating affect of dry and heat combination.
Because of the dryness, the temperatures in Tucson are survivable with precaution. But, elsewhere in a humid climate, these high temperatures would be extremely dangerous and fatal, particularly for those who are active in sports.
High temperatures and high humidity affect life very differently than high temperatures and dryness.
In Arizona, many people hate trees and cut them down and mutilate them, which is sad. This occurs as many people move here because they suffer with allergies, and trees are their enemies, except pine tress and such kind that have cones.
However, there are not that many pines to make up for those other kinds that are being mercilessly cut down.
We need more trees, and pines are a great compromise if they will be planted more in this area.
Those who suffer with Meniere's Disease also find relief in this dry desert where you barely have any symptoms at all.
The climate is almost exactly like the Middle East. If you plan on visiting or moving to Israel or Palestine or Egypt, or such areas, you would do well to acclimate to the weather here first, starting out with the dryness during the Winter and adapting to the hotter temperatures during the summer, which process takes about one year. If you can survive the summer, then you graduate.
Because of the extreme heat fluctuation, living in Tucson is like living on another planet . . . .
