STOIC WEIGHT LOSS PLAN

 

 

IMPORTANT - YOU MUST READ THIS

Before beginning the Stoic Weight Loss Diet, or any diet, you "must" take action with this checklist:

1.  If you are on any drugs, your physician must approve this diet to be compatible with your drugs, and, must monitor you during the diet.

2.  If you are more than 25 pounds overweight, a physician should monitor you while dieting.

3.  If you have any kind of disease, a physician should monitor you while dieting.

4.  If you follow this diet, you take full responsibility for your decision.  I can only say this diet works for me, and, I realize, and you should realize, that we are all different, and, thus, this diet may not be good for everyone, and could even be harmful for some people.

 

 

Do you really need to lose weight?

Determine whether you really need to lose weight.  Please read "The Truth About Fat People."  If you determine that you really are "not" happy being fat, and that you just have not found a way to lose weight, then this diet maybe beneficial in your weight loss plan.

ANOTHER SPECIES?

 

 

Clue:  Mathematical Gain/Loss Pattern

 

The following is the only diet that has ever worked for me.  I formulated the Stoic Diet after intensive study of dieting.  While everybody has criticized diets because of the "Yo-Yo Effect," where you gain and lose and gain and lose, and so on ad infinitum, I developed a different perspective.  I began to see a mathematical pattern developing. If I could translate this mathematical pattern to determine what the BacterVira were communicating, then I could understand dieting in the Language of Logic.

Instead of fighting this Yo-Yo pattern, I decided to flow with it, and see what would happen.

 

 

Clue:  Hunger Pattern in Mathematical Harmony

 

But, there was another problem to be solved.  No matter how much I ate, I was "always" hungry.  In fact, it seemed like the more I ate, the more hungry I would get.  When I discovered the right diet, I would surely see a harmonized pattern of hunger and satiety.

 

 

After you have eaten sufficient food
you were not meant to still be hungry

  

Pattern I was searching for:

In other words, I would be hungry, then I would eat, and I would feel full and satisfied after my meal.  That is the mathematical pattern that should be functioning.  We were not meant to be hungry after we have eaten sufficient food - this is what leads to eating more than one should, because we are waiting for that full feeling, that never comes.

 

 

Clue:  Weather

 

The BacterVira get cold in the winter.  They do not have a coat like you.  They depend on you to keep them warm - but they also habitually fatten up their insulators - the Fat BacterVira with the onset of winter.  People who live in cold climates have a lot of communication from Fat BacterVira who can sense the outside environment and send signals to you to intake more food.  They know how to make you hungry by sending chemicals to your brain.  If you do not eat, they don't either. 

 

 

Clue:  Food Choice and Society Identification

 

When I lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, I was the most slender I had ever been.  That is when I began the Stoic Diet.  The majority of people in Hawaii are Japanese, who are very slender.  Their diet is very healthy.  I ate the way they ate.  However, the native Hawaiians are extremely fat.  They eat a lot of very fattening foods, and much, much pig meat.  I identified with the Japanese society and tried to fit into their lifestyle.  I began to look slender like them, and without any effort, I was never hungry.  In short, if you want to be slender, it is every difficult to do if everyone around you is fat.  It is common to walk into an office and see every employee about the same weight - usually fat. 

 

 

Clue:  Fat BacterVira

 

The Fat BacterVira have one and only one destiny - to hold the nutrients in storage to keep you alive during times when no food is available. It is up to you to communicate to them when that time active storage is needed. They don't just eat the trashy part of your food.  They take the cream of the crop of everything you eat, and store it away for tough times.  If those tough times never come -- you just keep getting fatter and fatter and fatter.

 

 

EARTH WANDERING THEORY

 

Our Fat BacterVira were specifically created for the needs of our species.  They were created as we wandered across the face of the Earth.

When looking back into the past of humanity, I began to realize that historical accounting cites thousands of years, during our early evolution, were spent wandering the Earth.  But, not everybody wandered.  Some people stayed where they were born.  (Such people may have a different hunger pattern that a wanderer.)  Most of our early ancestors however, had this compelling urge to travel to unknown territory.  Sometimes it was to find better sources of food, better climate, and sometimes it was the insatiable quest for exploration.  Eventually humanity populated the Earth.  That is a lot of wandering!

In those early years of evolution, we had little technology to make our journey, and consequently, travel during that timeframe had unique characteristics.  The Earth was covered with many different wild animals, and, as our ancestors wandered into new territory, they saw creatures that they had never seen before. Further, they had many magical beliefs that kept them fearful, particularly at night where there were no lights, except from the moon.

It is reasonable to assume that travel took place during the daytime.  Since all travel was by walking, it would have been very dangerous to travel at night.  Thus, the wanderer would travel by day, hunt for food, and then use the evening to sit around the fire (after it was discovered how to make fire) with the tribe, and cook their meal.  So, the pattern looks like this:

1.  Travel by day;

2.  Hunt for meal; and

3.  Eat at night.

I tried this pattern to see what would happen.  I would go all  day without eating, and then eat at night.  Some interesting results occurred:

1.  If I ate something in the morning, no matter how small, I was hungry all day long, but if I did not eat anything at all, I was not hungry.  This is because glucose - the nutrient fuel that keeps you going - is produced under a very different chemical pathway when fasting than when eating frequently.

2.  By fasting all day and eating only in the evening, I was much less hungry, I ate reasonable meals - even when eating several times throughout the evenings.

3.    My hunger and satiety mechanism were in harmony for the first time in my life.  I was not hungry, but felt full after my meals.

4.  I ate much less, even when you add up the total amount of food that I would eat during several meals in the evening, than when I ate all day.

5.  With the regular exercise and this diet, I lost excess weight.

6.  I felt healthier.

 

 

Digestive Problems?

 

1.  This diet is great for people who have digestive problems because it allows long periods of time for the digestive system to rest between meals.

2.  Additionally, you must "not" drink any milk in any form. 

3.  You should practice meditation with Buddhism.

4.  Study Stoicism on how to solve problems with logic.

5.  Find a good source of comedy and practice reading humor daily.

6.  Whenever you think about it, make sure every part of your body is peacefully relaxed - whenever you "stress tense," the BacterVira release stress chemicals for which one of the side effects is digestive problems.  You may be "stress tensing" your body out of habit without even being under stress.

 

Hungry?
Maybe its coming from another species!

 

Hunger does "not" originate in the brain.  It originates from the Fat BacterVira - those "cells" who  function to store nutrient in the form of fat.  When their population is out of control, then they will send signals of hunger that compel you to eat beyond what may be healthy for you.  They are prolific reproducers of themselves, and when "you" fail to take control over your body and their colony, then the "Fat BacterVira" take control over you.

 

 

Stoic Weight Loss Plan:

 

1.    Go all day without eating, or see Options below.

2.    Drink water and tea throughout the day.

3.    After 4:00 p.m., you may begin eating.

        a.  You may eat one meal, and if still hungry, you must wait 2 hours before eating another meal.

       b.  You may only eat healthy food.

        c.  After midnight, you must stop eating, and cannot eat again until 4:00 p.m.

        d.  "Free Will Day" - on Fridays, after 4:00 p.m., you can eat whatever you want, except  no "Forbidden Foods."

        e.  On holidays, or special occasions, you can break your diet by substitution.  That means, if you eat lunch, then you substitute this time period for the after 4:00 p.m. meal.  Thereafter, you cannot eat until the next day at 4:00 p.m.

3.    Food for Thought Daily:

        a.  Study mathematics, Stoicism, Buddhism and any other religion, and meditate.

        b.  Study about self-discipline, and practice having self-control over every facet of your life.

       c.  Pray, including for personal guidance to be healthy.  Prayers are thoughts that seek awakening the intelligence of God the Force in the higher realms of your brain.

4.  Keep in touch with good comedians whose destiny is to enlighten happiness in the soul.  But, find true talent, not those who disgust by shocking you with filthy words and uncontrollable ideas.

5.  Exercise regularly. You can fit in exercise by simply walking as much as possible.  Walk to work or to the grocery store, or walk up the stairs instead of using the elevator.  You need to exercise until breathing heavily at least 3 times a week to clean out your circulatory system, unless having a prohibiting condition (such as a disease) or according to your personal guidance.

6.  Option 1:  Only weekends completely go without eating until 4:00 p.m., and during the weekdays or while at work, eat the following lunch:  "small portion" of raw mixture:  nuts, seeds, and raisins:  such as pecans, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds,  soybean nuts, and raisins. This option will give you enormous energy, and is so nutrition-packed that you will feel full.

7.  Option 2:  Follow Option 1, except, for lunch substitute a drink of  Spiru-tein®  Soy or Stoic Chocolate Soy.

8.  Option 3:  If you are having problems with hunger, drink Spiru-tein®  Soy and nuts with raisins for lunch, and then after 4:00 p.m., begin your evening meal with Spiru-tein®  Soy.

 

 

How long do I stay on this diet?

 

You can remain on this diet as long as you feel healthy.  After you have developed sufficient self-discipline, then make modifications according to preference.  But, remember this, you can never go back to eating the way you did before.  You must make a specific plan that includes all the known healthy foods that benefit you in a special way.

 

 

What if I am losing too much weight?

 

This Weight Loss diet is not for you.  Keep trying different modifications until you feel healthy.  Pray for guidance to find the best diet for yourself.

 

 

What Constitutes "Healthy Food?"

  

      1.  Raw vegetable salads.

        2.  Raw fruit salads.

        3.  Cranberries - every day.

        4.  Blueberries  - every day.

        5.  Tea.

        6.  Nuts and seeds - every day - raw preferred, but may eat some cooked temporarily when raw is not available.

        7.  Raisins - dried grapes that are high in antioxidants.

        8.  Rice - whole, brown rice only.  Many people do not realize that white rice is actually "denatured" brown rice - stripped of all the vital nutrients.  There is no such thing as natural white rice.  All natural wholesome rice is brown, and if you cook it for about 45 minutes in lots of water, it will get nice and fluffy.  No white rice.

        9.  Whole grains in bread, etc.

        10.  Vegetables, and often include tomatoes and broccoli.

        11.  Spiru-tein® - mix with banana - see recipe below.

        12.  Soy Lecithin Granules - mix in Spiru-tein® - see recipe below - or sprinkle on salads. I use Schiff® for its high quality soy - however, my preference is soy that is "not" genetically modified.

        13.  Soy Milk  - My favorite is Vitasoy®) - do "not" buy lowfat, because it is "not" necessary to be homogenized like regular milk, and, therefore is made lowfat by simply adding water, which you can do according to your preference or drink it straight.

        14.  Stoic Chocolate Soy (see recipe below).

        15.  Oatmeal - at least 3 times per week - if over 25 pounds overweight, or have heart problems, then eat every day beginning at 4:00 p.m.

        16.  Such other healthy foods as scientifically proven.

 

 

RECIPES

 

STOIC CHOCOLATE SOY
(Makes 1-1/2 cup)
>cocoa - 1 tablespoon of 100 %  pure ground (means no sugar, no anything added - find it in the baking section of the market)
>Soy Lecithin Granules - add 1 tablespoon
>Water - 1/2 cup

Cook above ingredients over medium heat, stirring frequently, until begins to boil.  Chocolate in its pure form needs to be cooked or it tastes bitter. Then, add the next ingredients:

>Soy Milk - 1 cup
>Honey to preference

Mix soy milk and honey with other ingredients and let sit for a minute to get warm.

 

 

SPIRU-TEIN® SOY
(makes 1 cup)
>
banana - mash in cup
>Soy Lecithin Granules - add 1 tablespoon
>Spiru-tein® -add 1/2 from scooper that comes with product or 2 heaping tablespoons or according to preference 
>Optional:  blueberries, strawberries, etc. - mash in cup

Mix ingredients with small amount of soy milk until pasty - this prevents most lumpiness.  Then fill cup with soy milk. If you are hungry, this drink will make you feel full quickly.

 

 

DIET AND EXERCISE GO HAND IN HAND

 

 Exercise - find a good, fun, exercise that you will enjoy and can do on a regular basis.  Have you ever thought about walking?  It is great, peaceful exercise.  Remember:  Diet and Exercise go hand in hand.

 

FORBIDDEN FOODS

 

    1.  No coffee - it destroys the heart tissue - perpetuates abnormal fast pace - shortens your lifespan.

    2.  No sugar, except on Friday's; otherwise, in small quantities already in your food.

    3.  No added salt, except small quantities already in your food.

    4.  No strong alcohol - absolutely no vodka, scotch, whiskey, etc., except small quantities of beer or wine as follows:

        a.  Exception to alcohol is small quantities of beer or wine (below 12.5 percent), but no more than 8 oz. on any day, and only as long as scientific research continues to show that "small" quantities may be beneficial.  But, understand, the benefit is primarily in relaxing you, and that relaxation with meditation is more beneficial than relaxing with beer and wine.  The nutrient benefits can easily be obtained with non-alcoholic foods. Even water in excess quantities can be harmful and wash away your electrolytes.

        b.  Absolutely "no" alcohol" and "no" exception if you have any history of alcoholism. If you have no control, then you have no alcohol.

    5.  No processed foods, except on Fridays.

    6.  No drugs, unless absolutely necessary.  My personal religious belief is that I only use prescriptions when a matter of life and death because they destroy the delicate newly evolved parts of the brain, and has lowered the majority of our society to the primary control of the primitive parts of the brain.

    7. No smoking.

    8.  No misery, no anger, no revenge, nor bad thoughts - read the Dalai Lama for peace and meditation instruction.

    9.  No white rice - instead eat brown rice.  White rice has been processed to remove the nutrients and is probably the cause of many bone deformities amongst societies who consume it a lot.

    10.  No white pasta, white bread or other processed grains where the nutrients have been removed. Instead, you may eat whole grain pasta, rice and other grains.

    11. If you have any kind of stomach problems, then see if you are lactose intolerant - anyways, avoid stress on cows, and do not drink milk except yogurt, and on special occasions in ice cream - instead, drink soy milk, or soy yogurt if you can find any.

 

 

Remember the BACTERVIRA

 

The BacterVira created you, and created food, and if the food was not made by them, then it will be rejected by them, and cause a chemical imbalance in your hunger-satiety brain function.  The fat BacterVira will become over-populated and send overwhelming signals of hunger. 

If the food has been analytically proven to be beneficial for our species, then it is good; but if it was made or processed for pleasure by removing the nutrients, then it is bad.  Keep informed with the latest scientific research on nutrition - and the health food industry leads the way oftentimes through the knowledge of experience.

 

 

LONGEVITY

 

If you want to live a very long time - the maximum amount of time that you possible can - then you must stop drinking coffee, slow down your life style, reduce all causes of stress, and eat less.  Read Dr. Wolford's research on longevity which explains that eating less extends your lifespan.

 

When you eat less food, the BacterVira eat less food.  Your longevity is their longevity.  When you eat less, they slow down their metabolism.  Being slow means living longer.  When you eat a lot, then their metabolism is much faster.  It is like a bank account - spend it quickly and it's gone sooner.  Spend it slower and it lasts longer.

 

 

WHEN YOU "STRESS TENSE" YOUR MUSCLES,
THE BACTERVIRA RELEASE
STRESS CHEMICALS

 

Every time you tense your muscles under stress, the BacterVira receive this as a communication that bad things are happening in the environment.  They have no eyes and live in a different, microscopic universe, and so you tell them the state of the environment by how much "stress tension" is in your muscles.  That is why meditation is so healthy for you - the purpose of meditation is to deliberately relax all your muscles, which places you in a peaceful state.

The BacterVira become very calm when all your muscles are relaxed in meditation.

If you spend most of your day with your muscles in "stress tension" then you are poisoning your body through signals to the BacterVira who respond by releasing stress chemicals.  This is different from the muscle tension of exercise which releases great chemicals of euphoria.  Yes, the BacterVira know the difference between tension under stress and tension under exercise.  The BacterVira created you.

Exercising also burns up all the stress chemicals and leaves you feeling very relaxed.  Since accumulation of stress chemicals causes disease, exercising also keeps you healthier - and you live longer.

Keep in touch with good comedians whose destiny is to enlighten happiness in the soul.  But, find true talent, not those who disgust by shocking you with filthy words and uncontrollable ideas.
