Skinny Long-Legged Bird Went to Vote
And Found Very Few People There!

September 20, 2008. Voter turnout was pitiful today. It was as bare as Diamond Head Mountain. Several polling places had problems, such as one had moved and voters had trouble finding it. Some places opened late for which working people could not wait. The polling place in Waikiki was extremely bare, and there were no signs to point you to the building used for voting way in the back of the field.

THE MAJORITY OF HAWAII RESIDENTS
ARE NOT VOTING

Further, if you look at all the candidates statewide, it is shocking how many positions are unopposed. Why? The people just do not respect their own votes. Perhaps, they are just too tired from working 2 and 3 jobs, and they can only think about rest. They may have given up hope. Many have to work on Saturdays and may not have been allowed to take off work to vote. Many did not understand that the Primary Election is important. We can only speculate, but what we do know is that the majority of residents in Hawaii are not voting.

MAYOR MUFI HANNEMAN
MAY NOT SERVE FULL TERM
IF RE-ELECTED

September 17, 2008.  During a televised interview by KITV4, Mayor Mufi Hannemann announced that he may not be able to fulfill the full 4-year term if re-elected because he has more important opportunities available in 2010. Speculations are that he will be running for Governor or Congress.  If he runs for Governor, he will have to give up his job as Mayor.  However, Hawaii has such severe problems, that the citizens cannot afford to be without a Mayor.  MORE

VOTE FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE

VOTE TODAY IMPORTANT
MAYOR COULD BE DECIDED

September 20. 2008. Your vote is needed today in the Primary election which could determine who will be your next Mayor of Hawaii. If a candidate takes in enough votes in this Primary election, then no election for Mayor will be held in the main General Election. Don't miss your opportunity. You must vote today if you want to take a stand on making changes in Hawaii.  If you do nothing, then things will get worse as a scientific fact: disorder increases when not resisted with order. Polls open today from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

US SHIFTS IRAQI WAR
TO AFGHANISTAN

September 9, 2008.  President Bush has ordered 8,000 troops to move out of Iraq by February including 1,000 marines out by November, while shifting the same war to the battleground in Afghanistan with increased fighting at the Pakistan border. Currently, there are 146,000 U.S. troops in Iraq, and 33,000 in Afghanistan. However, this is merely a strategic political shift of troops to enhance the Republican platform in the upcoming November election of a new U.S. President, but fails to resolve the issues of this widespread war.

CADBURY CANDIES
TAINTED WITH MELAMINE

September 29, 2008. Cadbury's Chinese chocolates have been found to contain melamine which is the industrial chemical which sickened 50,000 Chinese babies and killed four in tainted milk products. Recalled Cadbury candies are effective in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia. It is best not to eat them elsewhere also, and wait until the tainted products get out of the system and then buy only products bearing a date thereafter. In Hawaii, there are many foreign products imported from these countries. We cannot take a risk on our children. Give them mother's milk and soy milk products.

IS HAWAII
AN OPTICAL ILLUSION?

September 29, 2008. With virtually all things being the same, if Hawaii and its water were viewed with the same light as, for instance, the state of Washington, it would look quite dull and ordinary. In fact, the real beauty of Hawaii is an optical illusion created by the sunlight. Since plants thrive on this ideal wavelength of light, they produce more blooms and diversity.

You can discover the truth yourself about this optical illusion on cloudy days. When you look out over the Pacific Ocean, the water looks dull and ordinary gray.  But, when the clouds move out and the sun shines full force, the color of the ocean drastically changes to a bright turquoise blue.

Hair color also looks different in this light which is located near the equator. Blond hair looks more silver-blond and iridescent.  But, the hair of the elderly shows up in Hawaii light as blue, green and purple instead of black or brown as intended.

Further, Hawaii beaches are small, and often polluted with sewage spills.  When I first moved to Hawaii, I had dreamed about walking along the beach bare-footed every morning.  But, after living here and knowing how many times the sewers have contaminated the waters, I would never walk along the beaches barefooted.  It is risky and unhealthy.  The birds give the strongest clue of the danger, because those who frequently walk on the sand looking for tourist food, suffer with foot and leg deformity. However, those birds who do not walk on the beach, such as the Mynah birds, have never been seen with deformed legs.

That is not to conclude, without scientific research, that the beach sand actually causes the deformity of the birds, but it is another factor that adds into the conclusion that I would never walk on the beach in Hawaii barefooted.

DANGEROUS WAVES

Further, sharks are constantly attacking. When I bought a surfboard, I did not know about the frequency of shark attacks.  But, after something large brushed by my feet while surfing, I researched the issue, and decided that the ocean belongs to the domain of the sharks.  After that, I sold my surfboard. Those who surf, find that some areas of the island are safer, with rare shark attacks in Waikiki.  But, they are still out there.  The safest fun in the water is the body boards where you stay close to the shore. Waikiki is the safest beach in Hawaii.

The other beaches, not only have more frequent shark attacks, but they also have extremely dangerous waves that change all of a sudden.  You are not even safe standing close to the shore.  I was shocked to see the tiny little waves that beckoned me out into the shallow water, only to change within seconds -- seconds -- into huge 8-foot waves that pounded one after another with no time for recovery and filling my body with water seeping in through my nose. For the first time in my life, I was drowning. Even though I was a good swimmer, I could not recover from the extremely heavy pounding of the waves, pushing me underwater. I was at the point where I felt myself getting ready to faint. This would have killed me and taken away my ability to struggle up to the surface for air. Yet, my body was exhausted and the song of the ocean was hypnotic. As I was reaching the point of no return, my limp body was grabbed by a lifeguard and I was brought safely to shore.

I have not been out in the water since, and enjoy the ocean from a distance. But, I learned that day, that the ocean in Hawaii is powerfully different from Florida and from any ocean around the mainland. Someone with an academic background should write a truthful handbook that provides wisdom about how to tour Hawaii safely. There are many dangers, including the disease from wild pig poo that one can catch just from hiking, and from the lack of repairs caused by the poverty of the citizens. Hawaii is a state of extreme poverty that wrongly focuses almost exclusive on tourism and the illusion of wealth. Unfortunately, those who lust for profits are not going to provide detailed precautions and reveal the dangers that all tourists should know, and there are many more.

Hawaii oceans are wild with waves changing from tiny to gigantic in seconds, and the undertow changes without warning, while the human body succumbs to the hypnotic call of the ocean floor. Sharks have been known to swim into the shallow water to attack. And, venomous jellyfish are increasing in population worldwide, and have become a painful deterrent along with many other potential dangers for those who have not researched Hawaii. Hawaii's beauty is an optical illusion that is magnified by the plant creations. But, the natural forces are powerfully different from any other place on earth. Hawaii's beauty and wealth is an illusion. It is beautiful to look at, but Hawaii is a very dangerous place.

HUGE TRASH BIN FROM SPACE
TO BE BURNED DURING REENTRY
AND DIVE INTO PACIFIC OCEAN

September 28, 2008.  A huge spacecraft, Jules Verne, which functions as a gigantic trash bin, has been programmed to mostly burn-up during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere. The fragmented remains are planned to fall into the south Pacific Ocean. The event is being monitored by the European Space Agency's (ESA) freighter control center in Toulouse, France. Currently, this ATV (Automated Transfer Vehicle) which cost over $1.3 billion, is orbiting the Earth at the altitude of 330 km. At the time its fragments enter the Earth's atmosphere, the ESA will coordinate with air traffic controllers and maritime authorities to protect airplanes and boats from being hit by the fragments.

Jules Verne

There is no precise location in the Pacific Ocean that can be calculated, but its programmed re-entry point allows sufficient geographic space for variables to assure it falls safely into the ocean, except for whales and other ocean life which cannot be avoided. The ESA is working on a more advanced spacecraft which will not have to be destroyed after use and can serve multiple functions in space.

SOY PRODUCTS
PREVENT STROKES

September 27, 2008. In a recent study by the European Heart Journal, it was discovered that the chemical, isoflavone, in soy products is so powerful in fighting cardiovascular diseases that it is comparable to the cholesterol fighting drug, statin. Researches found that soya isoflavones prevent strokes and reoccurrences as it protects the cardiovascular system, including the heart, by inhibiting the growth of artery-clogging plaque cells. Previous studies show its strength in combating cancers of the breast or prostrate. Soy is available inexpensively in cans at the health food stores, and as soybean cheese while costs are rising for soy milk. Other protective foods include raw carrots (with skin), blueberries, broccoli, raw nuts, seeds, and oatmeal.

PIRATES OF SOMALI
SEIZE BATTLE TANKS

September 28, 2008. The American destroyer, USS Howard, has arrived near the Somali coast and  is negotiating with the Somali pirates for the release of the cargo ship, Faina, along with its crew which are being held for ransom. The original price for release was demanded at $35 million, but is now on sale at the reduced price of $5 million.

September 27, 2008. Pirates have been marauding dozens of ships recently passing near the Somali coast off the Horn of Africa, and have now seized a Ukranian cargo ship, Faina, carrying 33 Russian T-72 battle tanks along with ammunition and spare parts destined for Kenya. The Somali pirates are asking $35 million in ransom. They are holding 21 crew members hostage including three Russians. A war ship from Russia has arrived carrying surface to air missiles, 100 mm guns and anti-submarine torpedoes, while other nations, including the U.S. Navy are there prepared to take action to stop the piracy which has virtually shut down shipments through the area and threatens global security. Ukranian President Viktar Yushchenko is negotiating with the Somali pirates. It is believed the pirates were not aware of the contents and value of the cargo when it was seized.

HOMELESS ABUSE IN HAWAII
SETTING STAGE FOR
CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

Hawaii is the only place in America where the elderly homeless eat out of the trash and sleep on the ground, and are abusively compelled to hold commercial advertising signs for eight hours in the wind and rain for a few dollars, because no one will hire the elderly in Hawaii. Age discrimination is openly practiced by law firms which lead this elder abuse and threaten to block legal action against anyone complaining. Under Mayor Mufi Hannemann's dictatorship, this elderly man will be chased around and around the island, taunted, ridiculed, and even mocked by the wealthy-owned media, with few having compassion or who coward in fear which adds to his distress.  Hawaii is a "slave state" and the workers have been trained to be "submissive" with the threat of job loss which means to become homeless. Hawaii, the clock is ticking. Many states in America have been sued by the homeless for failing to find a home for them. It is just a matter of time . . . MORE

HAWAII 50-100 YEARS BEHIND MAINLAND

Hawaii is 50 to 100 years behind the Mainland civilization, and is currently in a horrendous state of chaos and getting worse every day. Hawaii lacks strong leadership. During this upcoming Hawaii election, we need to choose leaders who are willing to get down off the throne and get dirty to clean up this mess. We need leaders of action, energy, wisdom, and virtuous responsibility (reason, courage, justice, self-discipline, compassion, and patience). We do NOT need anymore kings and queens who sit back and collect a royal paycheck while killing the Middle Class and making the common people into slaves who are all living in poverty to serve those who are living in luxury:  there is no affordable place to live -- nowhere, nowhere, nowhere.

Pollution in Hawaii is critical and rising, and domestic violence is out-of-control, while more are becoming homeless and compelled to live in tents amidst those who struggle to work two jobs under abusive employers who steal your time at minimum wages only to come home to a rat-infested, termite nest where roaches rule the night.

We do NOT need leaders who continue chasing good businesses out-of-business while our leaders go to expensive luncheons with their high salaried paychecks without doing a single iota about the downward spiral of the poor condition of this state and the inhumanity suffered by the majority of residents.

In order to solve the problems, we have to take a clear focused look at exactly (1) what the problems are, (2) what possible solutions can be made, and (3) what potential leaders will actually work for the benefit of the common people. They have repossessed our chair, and we can no longer sit down while Hawaii continues to deteriorate far behind all the other states in America. Why should Hawaii receive less opportunities than any other state in America? Why?  Because we fail to peacefully stand up and say: No! Because we are isolated from the Mainland and ignorantly do not realize that we have much, much less than others.  Hawaii has become a slave state, and it is time to make it an American state for the equal good of all the people.

US ECONOMIC CRISES
FELT WORLDWIDE

September 26, 2008.  The U.S. economic crises is affecting nations worldwide: Ireland is entering into a recession, Great Britain stumbles into a recession with job losses mounting, Spain begins to feel the effects of a recession and is paying for the unemployed and homeless to leave.

FRANCE HOLDS STRONG

France is doing well economically primarily due to the practice of only buying what can be afforded. Charge cards are normally debit and purchases are limited to the amount that one actually has in the account. This is different from Americans and Britain who live in a dream world where everything one wants is purchased with the hope that money will follow. The overall picture quite painfully shows that every purchase costs much more than bargained after charge card interest rates are figured into the total price. It is possible that a poor person with no debt is richer than a person with many possessions obtained with debt. If we learn to live on what we actually make and save to buy those things we want, then we appreciate it more and remain free from debt.

Are we Smarter than Apes?

ECONOMIC DISCRIMINATION
is a Human Rights Violation
Often Seen in Third World Countries and
Hawaii

September 21, 2008.  Hawaii joins those uncivilized nations who practice Economic Discrimination by abusing the homeless when they have no place to go and by destroying the Middle Class and making Hawaii into a "slave state."  Such hatred has is roots in the same prejudice as "Racial Discrimination" and "Religious Intolerance" and all other kinds of prejudice. The cause of people functioning with the immoral behavior of prejudice is failure to resist their own primitive biological drive as seen in all common animals without wisdom who compete for the available resources, such as food, shelter, and mating.

The psychological drive of prejudiced behavior is quite clearly to eliminate all the possible competition, using criteria of certain attributes, such as, race (racial discrimination), economics (poverty, homelessness, low job position, etc.), religion (religious intolerance), and such other kinds of prejudice, and thereby having less people in the final population pool to compete with: succinctly, it is elimination of one's competitors by discrimination (prejudice).

Economic Discrimination is unconstitutional and is a Human Rights violation. Hawaii has the highest expenses of any state, but yet pays the lowest salaries which requires citizens to work several jobs in abusive working conditions, and has resulted in a severe job shortage in addition to the nationwide economic downfall. Let us pray for those who cause suffering with Economic Discrimination by abusing the homeless and other common people and by perpetuating the destruction of the Middle Class in Hawaii, because these prejudiced people cannot find happiness by destroying the human rights of others.

WisdomPeace can grow even in Hawaii if you plant the seeds of compassion. Let us show compassion to those who abuse the common people, for love overpowers hate.

TSUNAMI OF
HOMELESS ENCAMPMENTS
GROWS COMPASSION IN
CITIES NATIONWIDE

September 22, 2008.  As the economy begins to fall into a nationwide depression, families are being compelled to move out into the streets for the first time in their lives. Never say it couldn't happen to you, because the economy has not hit bottom in its free fall yet. Those who are still able to hold on are reaching out to help the homeless because they could be joining them next with unexpected layoffs and one economic tragedy after another. Perhaps, God is speaking to those who have ignored the cries of the homeless too long, and who have refused to do anything to help. Now, God says: "Since you won't listen, then you will have to be homeless yourself to understand." There are so many homeless living in their cars and vans nationwide that cities, such as Santa Barbara, California have opened up a parking lot to accommodate them. Further, homeless tent cities have been established from Seattle to Florida.

It is a crisis of epic proportions that have brought together social workers, non-profit groups, churches, and homeless advocates who are working together to manage tent cities and overflows from the shelters.

In Fresno, California those with compassion are working together in trying to setup and manage tent cities.  Portland, Oregon has opened up public land for the homeless to put up tents and has opened more shelters.

In Seattle, advocacy groups organized three tent cities at City Hall and peacefully protested until the government's militancy was overpowered with compassion and Seattle finally awakened the higher intelligence of empathy by providing the homeless with public space to setup tents.

Nationwide, city by city, the leaders are earning respect from those who are down on their luck. Those strong ones who are still holding on are letting down their boot straps for others to hold on, for not one -- not a single one of our children, mothers, and fathers shall fall to the bottom as long as we are strong. I will climb that mountain to the top no matter how steep, no matter how many times I slip down, and I will bring up everyone holding onto my bootstraps with me -- even the dogs, the cats, the birds, and the pot-bellied pig . . .

The heart of a true leader is revealed during the most difficult times. That is when the heroes are separated from the cowards, the strong from the weak, the deceivers from those of truth and the fools from those of wisdom. They can say all they want, but their actions during tough times define their true character.

MAYOR MUFI HANNEMANN
IS CLEANING UP
HOMELESS INFESTED PARKS

September 22, 2008. Mayor Mufi Hannemann says he is "cleaning up" the parks to get rid of the homeless for which "we have been in denial" about too long, he says. Mayor Hannemann has ordered the police to "kick the homeless out" of the public parks where they have set up tents. But, they have nowhere to go and there are no jobs and there is no affordable housing and there is no room at the shelters which require you to give up all your possessions except what you can fit into a small milk crate. And, you must sleep on the floor packed side by side with others. When the shelter is full, you must sleep outside on the cement ground. Let us pray for Mufi Hannemann who forgets that he was raised in poverty in Hawaii, and that his own father had to struggle working two jobs. And let us remind him that Obama was raised in poverty and had to leave Hawaii to escape. However, Obama has not forgotten, and pledges to help the poor. Pray for Mayor Mufi Hannemann to have compassion for the homeless and will find a public place for them to set up their tent homes.

"Father, why are they chasing us out of our tent home?"
"Son, forgive them. They know not what they do."
"But, father, can't someone help us?"
"God will help us."
"Why does God let us suffer like this?"
"We are not suffering as long as we have faith that God will move someone to help. We will never give up on God, and he will never give up on us. Have faith, son. God will not fail us; we will only fail ourselves by not believing and by not trusting on him."
"But dad, the police are coming and we have nowhere to go!"
"Son, keep praying son. Oh, keep praying. God will never leave us nor forsake us."

Let us pray that the U.S. will receive the Wisdom to learn how to patiently resist enemies with The WisdomPeace Lightforce Resistance, not war.  Evil cannot be destroyed, but can be changed.

US ATTACKS BORDER OF PAKISTAN

September 5, 2008.  The U.S. attacked the border of Pakistan with missiles while chasing enemies in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. However, Pakistan claims that the victims were innocent civilians including mothers and children.

This was the third attack in three days. The Pakistani military warns the U.S. that such acts of violence against civilians will result in more supporters willing to resist the U.S. aggression.

Pakistan has just elected a new leader, Asif Ali Zardari, who is the husband of the recently assassinated lady Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. This change of leadership brings Pakistan into uncertain direction since Zardari has previously been accused of corruption even though not prosecuted.

PAUL NEWMAN
BRINGS BLUE EYES
TO HEAVEN

September 27, 2008. Paul Newman, who is remembered from countless movies, has passed away and entered heaven at age 83 while battling cancer. He starred in movies such as the Towering Inferno, The Road to Perdition, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and many westerns as well as produced many movies. Although he is remembered for his stark blue eyes beaming like shining stars, he was, in fact, color blind which kept him from being a pilot in the Navy, and, instead he was a naval radio operator and rear gunner. He had a great marriage with Joanne Woodward that faithfully lasted throughout his career, which is rare in Hollywood. He donated generous proceeds to charity from the sale of several food products bearing his name, such a tomato sauce and dressings. As a professional race car driver, he added even more excitement to his productive and successful life.  Paul Newman was born January 26, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio, and his father was Jewish while his mother was Slovakian Catholic.

JUDEO-CHRISTIANITY

Paul Newman was considered a Christian even though he had Jewish ancestry which is common in America. Judeo-Christians go to Jewish and Christian churches that teach both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Holy Bible and are considered "Christians" (Catholics, Baptists, etc.) even when having Jewish ancestry.

America is one of the few countries that separates religion from heritage, although there is a growing political movement to establish America as a Judeo-Christian nation and unite with Israel to become a world power.

Judeo-Christians do not go to the strict Christian churches that teach only the New Testament nor the strict Jewish synagogues that teach only the Old Testament.

A little dove flew into my apartment, but couldn't find the way out. I have a net over the entranceway, and the dove had crawled underneath to get inside. No matter how high I lifted up the net, the dove kept flying directly into the net, over and over and over again, because it was convinced that through the net was the only way out. I had to actually go outside to show the dove the pathway to fly, and the dove followed me to freedom. How many times do we keep going through the net, over and over and over again and never get out of our unnecessary struggles? If we want to go along the pathway to freedom from our ignorance, we have to seek out and listen to our higher wisdom and the higher wisdom of others, and, to do that, we have to recognize wisdom.

PRESIDENT HUGO CHAVEZ

VENEZUELA
MOVES MILITARY AND ECONOMIC
ALLIANCE CLOSER WITH RUSSIA

September 26, 2008.  President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela is visiting Russia to secure a closer military and economic relationship with Russian President Medvedev. Chavez, referring to U.S. President Bush as "the Devil," has been outspoken against what he perceives as the U.S. quest for world dominance over all nations through military and economic power. Both Chavez and Medvedev, instead, support a "multipolar world" where no one nation controls all.

Russian deputy prime minister, Igor Sechin, a specialist in Soviet intelligence, has been leading Russia in regaining an allegiance with South America. In 2002, Russia closed its base at Cuba where it operated an electronic listening device. However, recent concerns over the U.S. escalation of warfare into several nations and interference in Russian politics involving the Georgia issues (territory near Russia, not Georgia in U.S.), has caused Russia to move into a defensive stance. Russia has recently sent nuclear warships and long-range aircraft bombers to Venezuela to participate in military exercises with the Venezuelan Navy who reports it has purchased over $4 billion in weapons from Russia.

Peter the Great Russian Nuclear Warship

RUSSIAN WARSHIPS
THREATEN AMERICA
WITH MILITARY BUILDUP
ACROSS FROM CUBA AND FLORIDA

September 22, 2008. Threatening America, who is keeping a poker faced low profile, Russia has left its port to participate in military "exercises" with Venezuela which is geographically located across from Cuba and Florida. Russia is sending its most powerful nuclear warship, Peter the Great, and itsanti-submarine warship, Chebanenko, accompanied by other warships.

Russia recently sent numerous long-range fighter bomber aircraft to Venezuela which will join in the military display of might to threaten America, but Russia has clearly alleged that its warships are not loaded with nuclear weapons.

U.S. Officials have warned Russia and Venezuela that America is keeping a careful watch over the mainland and its other territories during this military "exercise."  Recent U.S. military build-up has taken place in Hawaii, but the sites of Russia are aimed at the Mainland. The Rim of the Pacific also recently displayed military might during "exercises" in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii.

The U.S. has angered many nations by using highly aggressive military force in addressing political issues and extending its original cause beyond boundaries, and, consequently, America is suffering with deteriorating foreign relations and defensive responses by several nations fearful that the U.S. military is trying to establish dominating world power.

Recently, the U.S. interfered with Russia's claim of genocide attacks upon Russian citizens by the independent nation of Georgia near Russia. (not the same as Georgia on the mainland). After Russia sent its military into battle against Georgia, the U.S. responded by condemning Russia and sending billions of U.S. dollars to aid Georgia. This angered Russia who said that the U.S. ignored the genocide cause of the war. America essentially called Russia a liar and claimed that Russia was actually trying to take control over independent Georgian land which is rich in oil products. However, Russia claimed that America has no right to interfere in its political affairs and stated that the US is bullying Russia along with other nations in a threatening show of world-controlling power. Consequently, the escalating aggression of U.S. military entering into political issues far beyond its original cause has prompted Russia to now turn its military to face the U.S. from the ground base of Venezuela. However, the military "exercises" are intended only as a power show to cause the U.S. to stay out of Russian political affairs.

Pakistan is also angered at the U.S. extending its warfare across the border of Pakistan with remote control Drones firing missiles and killing Pakistan citizens including children at a religious school. Pakistan militants have responded by bombing the Marriott (a symbol of America) in Pakistan, but the newly elected President of Pakistan, who took power after his wife was assassinated, is pledging to support America's fight against terrorism, but does not want the U.S. fighting in its country. Pakistan citizens are upset that America is spreading its warfare across several nations and into Pakistan.  Recently, the Pakistan military shot at U.S. helicopters which are continuing to battle terrorists moving from Afghanistan across the Pakistan border. The Iraq war has now shifted primarily into Afghanistan, and, consequently is spilling over into Pakistan. Further, Pakistan has a close relationship with Iran which is believed to be building a nuclear weapon to protect its country from the worldwide escalation of military aggression.

HAWAII RESIDENTS
MISS IMPORTANT
TELEVISED EVENTS

September 29, 2008.  Whenever the President speaks on television, most residents of Hawaii are still at work because of the time difference.  Even though the last televised speech by President Bush was at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, Hawaii residents were busy working at 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the television stations do not rebroadcast these important speeches, which leaves Hawaii in a state of dependency on the news reporters who fail to be unbiased in their opinions.  The massive amount of poor living in Hawaii cannot afford cable nor satellite. Clearly, the television stations need to take responsibility and rebroadcast all important televised events during times when Hawaii residents are home.

CONGRESS STALLS
ON WALL STREET BAILOUT
AS DEMOCRATS GAIN POLITICALLY

September 29, 2008. The nationwide poll of viewers during the recent televised debate between McCain and Obama in Mississippi revealed that Obama won the debate by a wide margin. Clearly, the economic crises is benefiting support for the Democrats.

POLITICAL COMPETITION
AFFECTING CONGRESSIONAL DECISIONS

The economic crises could not have occurred at a worse time because Democrats and Republicans are in an extremely competitive mode that has affected their ability to come together and make a quick decision in Congress. Much time has been wasted over power struggles instead of focusing on the issues.

If Congress cannot come up with a quick plan, then the economy will slip into a full Depression, and will not recover for many years no matter who wins the Presidential election. Our economy is connected to foreign investors, and, therefore, this crises reaches worldwide.

VOTE WISDOM

When people vote for their leaders, they fail to realize that friendship and popularity contests fail to solve critical problems such as this.  Congress is filled with inept, ignorant politicians who have no clue how to solve problems, but are great friends and popular.

And so we wait . . .and pray for guidance as to what personal changes we need to make in our lives to survive in a most challenging economy.

The most important change we can make, is to choose better leaders, not based on friendship nor popularity -- but, with wisdom.

STOCK TRADING
PLUNGES DOW 778 POINTS
IN HISTORIC FREEFALL

September 29, 2008.  In a frantic freefall, the stock plunges to an historic low as the Dow Jones Industrials dangle on a thread at nearly 778 points. This is the largest one-day drop in history as stocks are hanging over a cliff amidst Congressional bull-fighting with red flags raging instead of the economic problems being solved. This drop is the largest fall in one day ever as Congress rejected the bailout with 228 to 205 votes in the House of Representatives, even after the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve pleaded that speedy passage of this bill is "essential to the stability and viability of the American financial system."

It is shocking to hear how many Congressional "leaders" do not realize that the stocks are connected to virtually everything in our economy and in the world. The Tokyo Stock Exchange's Nikkei-225 Index fell 580 points this morning after news that the economic bailout failed to pass Congressional votes. Similar unprecedented losses in stocks occurred in Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere.

The reasons for Congressional representatives refusing agreement on bailout issues range from "not enough support from the public" (who do not have privy to actual facts nor economic understanding)  to "not wanting to support bailout of Wall Street gambling (stocks)." Has the world suddenly dropped in IQ levels everywhere?.

LEHMAN BROS. TO FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY
MERRILL LYNCH TO MERGE

September 15, 2008.  A major U.S. investment bank, Lehman Brothers, will be filing for bankruptcy as all efforts to secure its steep decline have failed.  Merrill Lynch is merging with Bank of America in an effort to prevent a similar fate. These events will affect other bank failures and mergers which were predicted as a necessary economic function by Harvard Professor Rogoff on August 19.

HOMELESS GROW IN HAWAII

SOLUTION OF COMPASSION
FOR MASSIVE HOMELESS PROBLEM
IN HAWAII

September 15, 2008.  The solution to the increasing homeless problem in Hawaii has already been shown to you by the homeless themselves who are praying to God that you will awaken with compassion. They only need you to provide land where the homeless can set up tents. They need a place that is accessible by bus and that is safe for their families. Further, at a shelter, they must give up all their possessions except what they can fit into a small milk crate.  But, a tent is a home. There is a severe shortage of affordable housing in Hawaii to such extent that there is virtually none.

DOG CALLS 911

September 17, 2008.  In Phoenix, Arizona, a German Shepherd dog called 911 after a family member had a seizure. The family pet was trained by Paws with a Cause in Michigan, and was adopted by a man who had a history of seizures from military injuries.   We should have a new show called:  Are you smarter than a dog?

Elsewhere, a pitbull attacked a little boy and no one could release the boy from the grips of his teeth, until another dog jumped in and defended the boy by fighting with the pitbull causing him to be distracted and release the child. At this point, the people were able to use more force against the pitbull to stop his aggression.

Sometimes fighting is necessary, but only when reason cannot be used, and we have to use wisdom to know when to start and when to stop. If we are smarter than dogs, then humans can be stopped from aggression by using reason.  It is easy to become the aggressor because disorder is the default force and feels natural, but requires wisdom to resist and change disorder into order.  Without wisdom, disorder will change order into more disorder. If you do nothing, all things increase in disorder, but with WisdomPeace resistance, order prevails.

WACHOVIA
FOURTH LARGEST BANK FAILS

September 29, 2008.  Wachovia is the fourth largest U.S. bank to fail amidst loan defaults and other losses amounted to $42 Billion in this economic tragedy. After lengthy negotiations yesterday with numerous banks and protective intervention by the government, Wachovia was sold to Citigroup who will merge the failing bank assets into its loving arms. U.S. authorities have backed this sale to secure economic recovery. Further, FDIC assures that all bank deposits are safe and protected.

LARGEST US BANK
WASHINGTON MUTUAL
FAILS

September 26, 2008.  Washington Mutual, the largest bank in the U.S. has failed after a panic withdrawal from accounts reached $16.7 billion since September 15 along with billions of dollars in debt from default on risky mortgages. In a fortuitous salvage of the remains at a desperately low sales price, J.P. Morgan Chase bought Washington Mutual for only $1.9 billion. This is the largest bank failure in U.S. history.
